Security against broken windows with style

CHSG, a registered Charity devoted to improving Health and Safety in the Construction Industry, were experiencing many broken windows in their fine old converted Victorian School, caused by youths throwing missiles from the adjacent public park. The costs for replacing the broken windows were rising as the attacks increased and so London Secure Ltd were asked to protect each window with externally mounted grilles, on the understanding that the solution shouldn't give a 'Prison-like' effect when looking throgh the windows from the inside and that the arched appearance of the windows had to be maintained.

The solution? - 11 Crime Screen Grilles with black perforated steel grilles and white frames were installed within the window reveals, matching the existing transoms and mullions and arched top-section. From the inside of the building, a very acceptable 'shading' effect is the only indication that the windows are protected. A very short lead-in time to installation was requested and London Secure completed on schedule within 7 days of survey.
